Chances are ... it's already been asked!
Below, we have compiled some of the more typical questions that we're asked about or services by new clients and resellers. If you have a question that is not answered here, please review our support site for more in-depth information, or send your pre-sales or technical question to Sales Department

• Can I pay with credit card or do I need to issue a check?
Either is fine.  However if you pay by check you must pay either semiannual or annual.  If you are an Increment Reseller you must pay by credit card in a monthly billing cycle.

• When you say annually, do you mean pay you all the money up front, or pay monthly for one year?
You must pay the full year at once in order to receive the yearly discount.

• What does it cost to transfer a domain name with you, and to Atlanta Virtual from other domain providers?
There is no fee for transferring your currently registered domain to Atlanta Virtual from another outside domain provider. Domains provided through Atlanta Virtual's Domain Center will be pre-configured to include Atlanta Virtual's DNS nameserver information, so no transfers will be necessary, if purchasing through Atlanta Virtual. If you use another domain provider, please check with your provider for specific details on fees that may be incurred. Domains purchased through Atlanta Virtual's Domain Center may be parked on our servers for free.

Do you charge additional fees for using the MySQL database?
No. It is included in the package.

What is a virtual domain?
A Virtual Domain means having your own domain (http://www.your-name.com) without having to install expensive server hardware and software. With a Virtual Domain, you utilize our server's storage space, however, you are still professionally represented via your own personal Internet web address domain name (www.yourname.com) and by your own personal e-mail address domain name (you@yourname.com).

• What steps do I need to take to setup a virtual domain at Atlanta Virtual?
Simply sign-up with us by filling out our online order form or call toll free 1-888-250-5650 for the Sales Dept.
We will then assist you in transferring an existing domain or registering for a new domain to be placed on our servers.

• What is the time needed to make space on your server available?
Space will be made available the same business day! Once an account is setup an activation notice will be sent to you via e-mail including your user-ID, password, and your IP address.

Do you offer dial-up Internet access?
